In a mall in Beijing, four adorable humanoid robots, standing at about 95cm tall, were seen practicing their moves for the upcoming New Year. Dressed in colorful lion costumes, these robots were a sight to behold as they bent their knees, moved left and right, and shook their masks with precision.
As part of the annual Lunar New Year celebrations, various venues in Beijing are hosting fairs and activities, and this year, technology and robotics take center stage. These robots will showcase their skills in dancing, block stacking, and even playing soccer!
Qiu Feng, a member of the organizing committee, shared, "This year, we have a significant increase in the number of robots participating. They will perform a range of activities, from dance and martial arts to Peking Opera and poetry recitation."

Ren Zixin, the director of marketing at Booster Robotics, one of the Chinese startups behind these humanoid robots, explained, "Our robots operate in an AI-driven environment. Once the whistle blows, they make their own decisions and control their movements independently, without any remote control."
