The Ludhiana District Sub-Junior and Junior Swimming Championship has revealed a wealth of talent, with swimmers from PAU Club, Ludhiana Club, Fin Flyers Club, and Swim Force Club showcasing their skills. The event, held at the Punjab Agricultural University Swimming Pool, featured a range of events, including the 400m freestyle, 800m freestyle, and 400m freestyle for girls.
One of the standout performances came from Chirag Negi of PAU Club, who claimed the gold medal in the 400m freestyle (boys II) with a time of 5:40.8 seconds. Manntehveer Singh Deo from Ludhiana Club took the silver medal with a time of 5:48.74 seconds, while Bhavya Gupta from PAU Club secured the bronze medal with a time of 6:14.11 seconds.
In the boys' 800m freestyle (boys-IB), Kunwar from Fin Flyers Club emerged victorious with a time of 12:00.7 seconds. Aryan Mishra from Swim Force Club took the silver medal with a time of 12:47.70 seconds, while Kabir Singh from Swim Force Club finished third with a time of 15:48.72 seconds.
Aaradhya from Fin Flyers Club dominated the girls' 400m freestyle (group II) with a time of 6:35.94 seconds. The championship, which has been organised by the District Swimming Association, Ludhiana, has attracted more than 160 young swimmers competing for individual honours and team titles.
